As someone who’s been a part of IHMVCU for eight years, I can honestly say that it’s an incredible feeling to be able to share this exciting milestone with you. Construction has officially begun on our brand-new Bettendorf - Competition Drive Financial Center and I couldn’t be more thrilled about what this means for our members, the community, and the future of banking!

Why this location matters

Opening our 14th branch isn’t just about expanding our footprint, it’s about growing our ability to serve and support the communities that count on us. For us, it’s about being where our members need us most, offering easy access to services, and creating opportunities for engagement that go beyond just banking transactions.

Our new location will be in the heart of northeast Bettendorf, close to The Plex, and will serve as a vital part of our mission to make banking simple, efficient, and, most importantly, accessible. The neighborhood has seen so much growth, and we’re excited to meet new neighbors, help local businesses thrive, and continue supporting our long-time members in this area.

In a traditional branch, teller lines handle face-to-face transactions. At our Financial Center, those same transactions are completed through video tellers, with our local team nearby to assist whenever needed.

This modern setup allows for faster service and extended access, all while keeping the personal connection at the heart of what we do. The technology enhances your experience without replacing it. You’ll still get the same friendly, personalized service, and our team will have more time to focus on what really matters, building real relationships and providing guidance tailored to your goals.
