Life Changes? Let’s Talk Insurance!

Let’s be real – insurance isn’t exactly the most thrilling part of adulting. It’s easy to set it, forget it, and move on. But as your life changes, your insurance should too. Whether you’re dusting off your car after a long Midwest winter, celebrating a high school grad, buying a new house, or going through another big life shift, it’s smart to check in and make sure your coverage still fits your life.

Your kid just graduated

Cue the cap toss! If your kiddo is heading off to college or starting to drive solo, it’s time to check your auto insurance. You might need to adjust their location, add them to your policy, or tweak your coverage. Bonus: If they’re a full-time student with a B average or better, you could score a good student discount. (Cha-ching!) Just make sure to share their grades with your insurance agent.

You’re bringing the car (or boat!) out of hibernation

If your ride’s been snoozing in storage all winter, don’t forget to wake up your insurance too. You might’ve paused or reduced coverage while it was parked, so before you hit the road (or the water), give your agent a quick ring to make sure you’re properly protected.

You’re buying or selling a home

House hunting? Listing your place? Either way, your insurance will need a little TLC. If you’re selling, we can help keep your property covered, especially if it’s going to sit empty for a bit. If you’re buying (congrats!), we’ll help you find the right coverage for your new digs, taking into account everything from property value to your lender’s requirements.

Been a while? Let’s chat.

Even if none of these scenarios hit home, it’s still worth checking in if you’ve had the same insurance carrier for 3+ years. A quick policy review could uncover better rates, improved coverage, or new discounts you didn’t even know existed.
