Getting started at IHMVCU

Welcome to IHMVCU!

So, you opened your shiny new account at IHMVCU. Nice move! Now what? Don’t worry, we’ve got you. This page is your shortcut to all the tips, tricks and “oh, I didn’t know that” moments that’ll help you get the most out of your accounts. Think of it as your quick-start guide to banking smarter (without the boring manual).

Update your contact information 

Keep your email, mailing address, and phone number up to date right in Digital Banking. 

  1. Select your profile picture in the upper right corner
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Update your contact information  

Please note: If you live outside the U.S. or are moving internationally, please contact us for assistance updating your address.

Enroll in e-Statements

Go paperless for added security and a greener way to manage your statements. 

  1. Select the three dots in the upper right corner  

  2. Choose Documents & eStatements  

  3. Click Paperless Settings in the left column  

  4. Update your preferences  

Please note: Changes will apply to future statements moving forward.

Card controls & account alerts

Stay on top of your account and card activity with real-time alerts. 

  1. Select the three dots in the upper right corner  
  2. Choose Alerts  
  3. Select Account Alerts or Card Alerts  
  4. Update your alert preferences

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Help protect your account and keep your money safe with stronger authentication options. 

  1. Select your profile picture in the upper right corner  
  2. Choose Security  
  3. Select Authentication in the middle section of the page  
  4. Update your security preferences

Member to Member Transfers

Use Member to Member Transfers to send money from your IHMVCU account to another IHMVCU member.

Send a Member to Member Transfer

  1. Go to Move Money  

  2. Select Member to Member Transfers

  3. Select the member account you want to transfer to 

  4. Choose the account you want to transfer from  

  5. Enter the amount  

  6. Choose whether it’s a one-time or recurring transfer  

  7. Review and submit

Add Another Member’s Account 

  1. Go to Move Money  
  2. Select Member to Member Transfers  
  3. Click Add Account  
  4. Enter the member’s M2M Code  
  5. Add an Account Nickname  
  6. Click Add Account 

 

Create and Share Your M2M Code 

  1. Go to Move Money  
  2. Select Member to Member Transfers  
  3. Click Create Code  
  4. Select the account you want to link  
  5. Create an M2M Code  
  6. Click Create Code  
  7. Share the code with the IHMVCU member who needs to send money to you  

Note: M2M Codes must be 6 to 24 characters and can only include letters and numbers.

Make a loan or credit card payment from a non-IHMVCU account


Need to make a payment on your IHMVCU loan or credit card from a non-IHMVCU account? Visit Pay My Loan for your options. Please note: A fee may be charged.

Direct Deposit

  • Most employers offer digital direct deposit set up, if yours doesn’t, complete this form, then print it, sign it and take it to your employer’s payroll department.

  • Have your MICR number handy. You can find it by selecting the account you want your direct deposit to go into, then tapping Account Details.
