Getting started at IHMVCU
So, you opened your shiny new account at IHMVCU. Nice move! Now what? Don’t worry, we’ve got you. This page is your shortcut to all the tips, tricks and “oh, I didn’t know that” moments that’ll help you get the most out of your accounts. Think of it as your quick-start guide to banking smarter (without the boring manual).

Update your contact information
Your contact information, including your email, mailing address and phone number can be updated under My Settings or reach out to our Contact Center through secure chat.
Enroll in e-Statements
In online banking, click e-Statements (upper right corner) > click (profile/user icon) > click View Profile > click
(pencil icon) > change Delivery Type to Paperless.

Digital banking alerts
Receive real-time account notifications
In online banking, select Notifications in the top gray navigation bar > select Settings in the far left corner of the drop down and select your alert preferences for each account.
In our mobile app, tap More > ⚙️ (gear icon) > Push Notifications and select your alert preferences for each account.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
MFA is a security process that requires you to provide two or more forms of verification before you can access your account.
In our mobile app, tap More > ⚙️ (gear icon) > My settings and select your preferences.
Schedule recurring transfers / payments
In our mobile app, click Move Money in the bottom bar > Make a transfer > Schedule.
In online banking, select Move Money in the blue navigation bar > Schedule a transfer.
In online banking, select My Settings in the top gray navigation bar and select your preferences.


Make a loan or credit card payment from a non-IHMVCU account
Need to make a payment on your IHMVCU loan or credit card from a non-IHMVCU account? Visit Pay My Loan for your options. Please note: A fee may be charged.
Push notifications
In our mobile app, tap More > ⚙️ (gear icon) > Push Notifications and switch on Interact Messages. You also need to make sure you've enabled push notifications on your phone or tablet.
Enable push notifications on your device:
iPhone or iPad
Open your IHMVCU mobile banking app and log in
Tap the ⚙️ (gear) icon in the top right corner
Select “Push Notifications”
Turn on “Interact Messages”
Then go to your device’s Settings
Tap “Apps”, then scroll down to “IHMVCU”
Tap “Location”
Set it to “Always”
Android phone or tablet
Open your IHMVCU mobile banking app and log in
Tap the ⚙️ icon in the top right corner
Select “Push Notifications”
Turn on “Interact Messages”
Head to your device’s Settings
Tap “Apps”, then scroll down to “IHMVCU”
Tap “Permissions”
Set location to “Allow all the time”
Direct Deposit
Most employers offer digital direct deposit set up, if yours doesn’t, complete this form, then print it, sign it and take it to your employer’s payroll department.
Have your MICR number handy. You can find it by selecting the account you want your direct deposit to go into, then tapping Account Details.
