Things to remember  

IHMVCU will never call or text you to ask for your full card number, online or mobile login details, full account number, Social Security number, or to click a link to verify a transaction. 

At IHMVCU, we use advanced fraud protection systems to monitor your accounts for any suspicious activity and prevent unauthorized transactions. If you become a victim of fraud, we'll work with you to restore your account and protect your information, at no cost to you. 

What to do if you think you’ve experienced fraud 

Think you’ve been targeted by fraud? Don’t panic. Act fast to stop the damage before it gets worse!

  • Unauthorized transactions: If you don’t recognize a transaction posted to your account, immediately contact us.
  • Lost/stolen cards: If it’s during business hours and your card is lost or stolen, or you suspect fraud or identity theft, please call us at 309-793-6200. If it's after business hours and you've lost your card, suspect fraud, or think you may be a victim of identity theft, call 844-697-2553.
  • Unauthorized check cashed from your account: If a check is cashed from your account that you didn’t approve, you’ll need to visit a branch in-person to resolve the issue. 
  • Online and mobile banking compromised: If you clicked on a suspicious link or shared your online banking information, immediately change your password and then contact us.
