To help their efforts in our community, we selected six outstanding local nonprofits to receive a piece of our tiered $13,000 Giving Tuesday donation. We wanted YOU to vote for the recipient of the top donation.

What is Giving Tuesday, you ask? It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

HOPE Initiative
Galesburg, IL
HOPE Initiative partners with Convoy of Hope to distribute surplus food, supplies and essentials to the community. They support 66 local nonprofits, provide “Hope Boxes” with necessities to seniors, and donate hundreds Thanksgiving turkeys every year.
